The Wife of Oyo State Governor, Engr. Tamunominini Makinde has described Barrister Mojisola Ojo, as a virtuous and outstanding woman, who loves her children and people around her.
Mrs. Monisola Ojo who is the mother of the Commisioner for finance in the state, Mr. Akintola Ojo clocked 80th last week.
Speaking at the thanksgiving service which took place at Canaan Swamp Gardens, Holy Trinity Road, Old Ife Road, Ibadan, Mrs. Makinde asked other women to emulate the virtue of the octogenarian.
Makinde said; ”people need to celebrate a woman of substance and a living legend. The celebrant enjoyed the grace, mercy, and love of God in her life despite the odd she might have encountered before attaining the 80th birthday anniversary.”
Reacting to the encomium, Mojisola Ojo said she enjoyed divine favour, grace, and mercy of God in attaining 80.
Ojo stressed further that, despite many challenges, God has always seen her through.
She noted that what kept her going is the abilities to ensure that she is always happy and excited.
Commissioner for Finance Mr Akinola Ojo described her mother as an amazing woman, a gem, somebody who loves without boundary.
Mr. Ojo explained that the celebrant sacrificed her own future for him and his siblings.
At the occasion were the Deputy Governor, Engr. Rauf Olaniyan, Secretary to the State Government, Mrs. Olubamiwo Adeosun, Commissioner for Works, Mr. Sangodoyin Kehinde, Director-General Due Process, Ms. Tara Adefowope, Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Diaspora, Hon. Bolanle Sarumi, and other notable dignitaries.
