20-year-old man, Thomas Matthew Crooks, attempted to assassinate Donald Trump at a campaign rally in Pennsylvania.

Trump suffered an injury to his right ear, and one spectator was killed. Two others were also injured in the incident.

The shooter, Thomas Matthew Crooks, was identified by the FBI. He was killed in the incident.

The FBI has launched an investigation into the incident. They are currently looking into the motive behind the attack.

President Joe Biden and Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida have condemned the attack. Biden called the shooting “sick” and Kishida called for a stand against violence that “challenges democracy.”

Trump walked down the steps of his plane unassisted at an airport in Newark, New Jersey, following the incident. He has also posted on social media, saying he was shot in his right ear.

Reacting to the incident, President Biden said: “I have been briefed on the shooting at Donald Trump’s rally in Pennsylvania.

“I’m grateful to hear that he’s safe and doing well. I’m praying for him and his family and for all those who were at the rally, as we await further information.

“Jill and I are grateful to the Secret Service for getting him to safety. There’s no place for this kind of violence in America. We must unite as one nation to condemn it.
