The Oyo State Universal Basic Education Board (OYOSUBEB) has received accolades for the successful conduct of the recent computer-based tests (CBT) for jobseekers. The Association of Primary School Head Teachers of Nigeria (AOPSHON) praised the board for the smooth and incident-free examination.
AOPSHON Chairman, Mr. Adekunle Adedeji, expressed satisfaction with the examination’s credibility during his visit to the Distance Learning Centre, Ajibode, Ibadan. He commended the Oyo State government for the ongoing workshop for retiring headteachers, which will help them prepare for life after retirement.
OYOSUBEB Chairman, Dr. Nureni Aderemi Adeniran, reported that 50,097 candidates sat for the examination, which took place in one centre. He commended the candidates’ comportment and noted that the examination was successful, with results already available.
The CBT examination, held from July 22 to July 26, 2024, was part of the recruitment process for prospective teachers in Oyo State. The successful conduct of the examination is a testament to the state government’s efforts to ensure a seamless and transparent recruitment process.
