Oyo NUJ Condoles ex-Chairman Gbenga Ayoade over wife’s passing
The leadership of the Nigeria Union of journalists, NUJ, Oyo State council has paid a condolence visit on the family of a former Chairman of the union, Comrade Gbenga Solomon Ayoade.
The NUJ Chairman, Comrade Ademola Babalola who visited the family along with members of his executive and leaders in the council described the death of Mrs Ayoade as shocking, devastating and unexpected.
Babalola further remarked that the deceased lived an exemplary life and served God till the time of her death, few days ago.
The NUJ Chairman, said the news of Mama’s demise was very painful to NUJ, while praying that God will comfort the family and give them the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.
While receiving the NUJ Chairman and members on his entourage, Comrade Ayoade described his beloved wife as the best woman.
He said there was no achievement he recorded without his wife, he recalled how his wife stood by him every moment, throughout her life time.
Comrade Ayoade explained that his wife was very good and an adorable mother.
He said his wife was a very committed Christian; an head usher who loved God and paid her tithe regularly.
The former Chairman acknowledged how his journey in life had gone with his wife and how she united every member of the family.
He said Mama was 62years until her demise, and the family and the church are making arrangements to give her a befitting burial.
Comrade Ayoade thanked the NUJ leadership for visiting his family and thanked Comrade Ademola Babalola for supporting him all the time.
