An aspirant of the Oyo state House of Assembly on the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Iseyin/Itesiwaju State Constituency,
Hon. Jacob Akinrinade Adeyemo has opted out of the race.
He alleged that the delegate list that was brought for the primaries of the party in Oyo was grossly tampered with.
According to him, he had called attentions of the leaders to the alleged fraudulent list in circulation before the primaries, adding that nobody addressed the abnormalities.
Adeyemo in a statement he personally signed on Saturday said; “it is unfortunate that we are practicing ‘jagba’ politics in this critical time when people of our dear state are expecting us to in government.
“I Jacob Akinrinade Adeyemo therefore use this opportunity to inform my supporters that I am opting out of the race. My next move shall be communicated in the next 48hours,” he said.
