Senator Sharafadeen Alli (APC-Oyo South) has expressed deep sympathy and solidarity with the victims of the recent fire outbreak that destroyed shops and goods worth millions at the herb section of the popular Oranyan market in Ibadan.

The Senator noted with sadness the significant loss of goods worth millions of naira, acknowledging the severe impact this has on the traders and their families who depended on the market for their livelihood.
He described the incident as a tragic setback for the traders and the entire community, calling for collective support in these trying times.
Senator Alli called on relevant authorities to expedite the ongoing investigations to determine the cause of the fire and to ensure that adequate preventive measures are put in place to avoid a recurrence.
He urged the government to provide immediate assistance and relief to the affected traders to help them recover from their losses and rebuild their businesses.
The Senator appealed to well-meaning individuals and organisations to join hands in providing support to the victims, stressing that this is a time for unity and compassion.
He reassured the victims that he would continue to advocate for their welfare and work towards securing the necessary aid and interventions.
Senator Alli restated his commitment to the overall development and safety of markets within Oyo South, pledging to partner with relevant stakeholders to enhance fire safety measures and infrastructure in markets across the district.
