My Husband Is Bringing Different Shapes, Sizes Of Women To Our Matrimonial Bed, Divorce Seeking Wife Tells Court

Chief Ademola Odunade, the President of a Mapo Customary Court in Ibadan on Thursday dissolved a four year-old marriage between one Rukayat Akanni and Sola over alleged infidelity and threat to life.

Odunade held that he dissolved the union because the court would not tolerate any action that could bring about blood shed.

Therefore, he awarded custody of the only child produced by the union to Rukat and directed Sola to pay N5,000 as the child’s monthly feeding allowance.

Earlier on, Rukayat who lived at Akuro area in Ibadan said that she made up her mind to call it quits with her husband because of his unfaithfulness and irresponsibility.

“All I have ever benefited from my four year-old union to Sola is his unfaithfulness and constant threat to my life.

“Despite the fact that I have tolerated most of his excesses, Sola has taken his adulterous lifestyle to the next level by bringing different shapes of women to our matrimonial bed.

“If I dare complaine, he subjects me to torturous slaps.

“In fact, Sola frequently warned me that he will kill me anyday he finds me with a man by my side and the business I am engaged in has to do with both sexes.

“Also, Sola doesn’t cater for the child and I.

“I don’t want to lose my life too soon, separate us,” Rukayat cried.

However, the defendant was not in court when he was called to respond to the allegations leveled against him.

The bailiff said that he served several hearing notices on the respondent.

The court’s registrar was subsequently directed to send the copy of the judgment to Sola.
