Governor Seyi Makinde of Oyo State and the National Leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Asiwaju Hammed Tinubu are expected to be host and Special Guest of Honor at the launch of the Agbekoya, Command Performance and Book Presentation respectively.
Other dignitaries expected at the launch are; the Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi, the Alaafin of Oyo, Lamidi Adeyemi (Royal father of the day),the Olubadan of Ibadan land, Oba Soliu Adetunji (Host of Royal fathers), Chief Adebutu Kensington (Lead Launcher), Alhaji Salimon Oladiti (Guest of Honour).
The event which is billed for October 12 at Mulberry Hall, Mauve 21, Ring road Ibadan would have Dr. Olusola Ayandele as the book reviewer while the chairman, Federal Inland Revenue Service (FIRS) as canvasser.
oyoecho.com reports that a statement signed by the executive producer of the Yoruba heritage programme, Yinka Folahan indicates that the programme kick-off 3:00pm while the book presentation and cocktail is scheduled for 5:15 and 6:30 respectively.
