Make Me First Female Senator In Oyo North, Female Aspirant Begs Delegates
A female aspirant for the Oyo North Senatorial District on the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Mrs. Adebola Adeboyin has urged delegates for Saturday Senatorial primary of the party to support her for quality representation.
She begged aspirants to vote for her to become the first female senator in their senatorial district.
Speaking with journalists in Ibadan, the state capital ahead of the primary, Adeboyin, a renown banker said she has what it takes to represent the senatorial district.
According to her, people in the region usually cheat their women folks by not allowing them to represent them in politics.
She said; “In the past, women in our senatorial district were being cheated. For women to liberate themselves, let’s vote for a woman of good standing to represent us. I am here to represent you.
“As the only woman among the three contestants, I have what it’s takes to represent the the people, and as a mother, I know what children want from their parents. I am using this opportunity to call on the delegates and party chieftain to support me. I won’t disappoint them.”
Speaking further, the female aspirant described other contestants as knowledgeable, experienced as well as capable of the post but however, woman should be given the opportunity this time around.
