Former inspector General of Police of the Nigeria police Force, Gambo Jimeta is dead.
This was confirmed by Daily post on Thursday
Jimeta was the National Security Adviser to former Head of State, Ibrahim Babangida, He was appointed in 1986 to succeed Etim Inyang and was succeeded by Aliyu Attah in 1990.
Before his death he was known as a vocal voice on national issues.
