Hon. Ibrahim Akinkunmi, a former interim leader of the Atiba local government, has led hundreds of PDP members to the All Progressives Party (APC).
Akinkunmi, the PDP candidate for House Assembly in the general elections of 2019, was present at the APC meeting on Sunday in Oyo town.
Hon. Prince Akeem Adeniyi Adeyemi, Rt. Hon. Asimiyu Alarape, Hon. Ademola Adelowo (Chairman of the Atiba APC), Alhaji Tajudeen Olanite (Secretary APC Oyo State), and other Party Leaders, excos, and members welcomed him.
The All Progressives Congress, APC now has a better chance of winning the general elections in 2023 as a result of his defection.
