Senator Sharafadeen Alli (APC-Oyo South) has congratulated Alhaji Fatai Ibikunle on his well-deserved nomination to serve as a board member on the Code of Conduct Bureau (CCB).
This is contained in a statement signed by his Special Adviser on Media, Akeem Abas and made available to newsmen in Ibadan.
Senator Alli commended President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for recognising Ibikunle’s capabilities and nominating him to serve on the board of such a critical institution.
The lawmaker expressed confidence that Ibikunle would contribute significantly to promoting ethical conduct and accountability in public service.
“Alhaji Fatai Ibikunle’s nomination is a well-deserved recognition of his remarkable track record in public service and leadership.
“His wealth of experience, dedication to fairness, and commitment to the nation’s development will undoubtedly enrich the operations of the Code of Conduct Bureau,” the senator stated.
He urged Ibikunle to bring his wealth of experience to bear in ensuring that the bureau achieves its mandate effectively.
The lawmaker emphasised the importance of the CCB in fostering transparency and accountability among public officials.
Senator Alli expressed optimism that Ibikunle’s appointment would inspire other public servants to uphold the highest standards of integrity and ethical behaviour.
He extended heartfelt congratulations to Ibikunle and the people of Oyo State, urging all to support him in his new role.
