Rep Member, Akinremi Reopens Foundation Office Today, Orders Students To Resume
A member of House of Representatives, representing Ibadan North Federal Constituecy of Oyo state, Hon. Musiliudeen Olaide Adewale Akinremi fondly called ‘jagaban’ on Monday ordered Students, artisans and other trainees undergoing free vocational training at Prince Akinremi Foundation (PAF) to resume today, Monday, October 12, 2020 at his Yemetu Ibadan constituency and vocational office.
Prince Akinremi had ordered closure of his Foundation office located in Ibadan North area of Yemetu behind Yemetu Police Station few months ago because of the need to follow the guidelines and protocols of the coronavirus pandemic otherwise called Covid-19.
The Foundation office of the lawmaker had trained and equipped over 3, 000 people in different fields like Tailoring, Hairdressing, Barbing, Shoe Making, among others, since the Centre took off in 2016, three years before Akinremi Jagaban was elected in 2019.
According to Hon. Musiliudeen Olaide Adewale Akinremi in a statement he released on Sunday in Ibadan, many of the students are yet to complete their training tenure due to Covid 19 pandemic ravaging the land.
He said all students learning one vocation or the other, should resume to their various classes this Monday morning.
The lawmaker representing Ibadan North Federal Constituency added that all Covid-19 protocols have been put in place and shall be followed accordingly.
Akinremi Jagaban therefore urged the students to come with their nose or face masks.
