Former secretary to Oyo state government and a governorship aspirant of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), Oloye Sharafadeen Alli has debunked the rumor of joining the peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
Oyoecho33 reports that Alli said there was no time he sat down, met or agreed with anyone to discuss his difection to PDP as was reportedly circulated on social media.
Alli was recently reported by some online tabloids to have agreed to contest for Oyo South Senatorial districts on the platform of the PDP.
But the former Chief of Staff in his reaction described it as a blatant lies against his wish by some mischievous politicians.
Alli in a short message sent on whatzapp message said “While I don’t like joining issues on social media, I wish to state that the news of my imminent defection to PDP is false in its entirety.
“There has not been any time that I sat down, met or agreed with anyone on the said subject matter.
“I REMAIN a committed member of ADC. Please disregard any such story. Thanks.”
